Many people here are forgetting a few major facts, Ichigo doesn't suck, he's just up against a really tough enemy. It's someone who is powerful enough to be a captain and to fight Kenpachi without Kenpachi dying to have a rematch so something had to happen there and Ichigo's Shinigami powers are sealed off mostly from the bakkoutou AND Amagai has the nuclei from the other bakkoutou that all the other tough people used and so he esentially is using their reiatsu PLUS his own. If Ichigo can get by that big sword and get the nuclei then he'll eliminate the bakkoutou and his shinigami restriction and then it's over, maybe even release the reiatsu in a big boom! Also, they DO tie in the storyline from these "fillers" and Renji and Ishida fled from their fight from the Espada while Orihime was saved, it says so...can't be more obvious.

I just love how weak Ichigo becomes in all of the fillers...wow...thats pathetic. He should be able to kick any on e of the caprains asses in his hollow form alone

It's not even a filler, Its a alternate storyline preceeding the main season Storyline. It's a "In the middle" story, While the animation team spent the time to work on the Bleach movie 'DDR'. As far as i know, This storyline goes on for 3 more episodes, Then they start work on the Hecto Mundo "War" storyline again, With Aizen & Co.

I personally love this alternate story, Its very entertaining. Altho i would've liked Ishida / Chad / Inoue to have a larger role.

the only reason the fights not over is because the bakkouto is gonna keep amagai alive until it completley devours his reitsu. outside of amagies one attack that took a huge amount of his energy ichigo was the only one doing any real damage since he put on his mask.

seems to me that only a few people actually understand why Ichigo is weaker then when he fough with grimmjow, or the people are just plain stupid and didn't watch the last two eps or watched it without the subs and commented. However why wont this filler arc end?! it's awful and it ruins the entire plot, the fact that ichigo is using his hollow form all the time is ruining it so much. There is no way i can understand how they are trying to say amagai is on the same level as grimmjow in terms of opponoents. The whole point of the hollow form is that it's a last resort if bankai doesn't work and using the holllow form like this makes bankai more or less a useless step, it's getting almost as bad as dragon ball z when they do this. Please stop ruining it and go back to the main plot where the writer actually knows what he's doing!
