Who is the strongest current Captain? And why?


I'll say Kenpachi Zaraki because he has most Reiatsu and he owned two Captains at the same time

It's definitly Yamamoto. He's the Captain-Commander of Gotei 13 and he is really strong. He was able to handle Ukitake and Kyōraku by himself and he was able to imprison Aizen, Tousen and Gin with his shikai.

Kenpachi would be the strongest if he had a shikai and a bankai but right now he's far away from being the strongest.

If u'd make a list, i would only be sure of 2 places,

1. Yamamoto - He is the Captain Commander, and everyone knows he has to be the strongest to defend Seireitei.
Thusfar i say he is the strongest.
A Captain Commander is the strongest or else Zaraki could kill him, and i do not think he can....

2. Kenpachi - He got the titel Zaraki because he is the strongest among the captains, it would be weird if Byakuya or anyone else could defeat him in pure combat, then the script of Bleach would'nt suit.
Plus, if he only releases his eyelap his reiatsu would grow tremendlously, making him even more stronger then he already is.

For the rest, i'd leave it up to the rest

Wtf??? OF COARSE it'll be yamamoto hes the commander duhhh but anyway

i vote for Kenpachi if he has bankai...well shikai would be fine

and the last one my main vote is kyoraku ya'll better read the manga how powerful he is

As far as raw power is concerned Yamamoto definitely. But that in mind, I think that both Soi Fon and Kurotsuchi have deadlier zanpakuto. Imagine that you didn't need all that raw power to defeat your opponent, if your zanpakuto could poison and paralyze your opponent or striking them in the same place twice caused death. Those two could probably kill somebody around the same level of strength as themselves with little effort. But it's difficult to say how effective their attacks would be against somebody with immensely higher spiritual pressure.

I can't belive how retarded this community is. Kenpachi is actually getting the votes? Yamamoto all the way. Kyoraku would also be able to beat Kenpachi without going Bankai.
