Ichigo's Powers *theories*

kk this is a topic about Ichigo's powers like: was he already born with them? did Rukia awaken he's true powers? does it have something to do with his parents? etc....

since this is about the theory of the matter dont be abusive/mean/etc... towards other peoples theories, everyone has the right to their own opinions however if you think they are wrong in a way explain it to them in a nice way what is wrong with it.

so start sharing those theories of yours

If i may say,

Ichigo is the only one of his kind, to produce a hollow within him while gaining shinigami powers (well rather, awakening them), as the other vizards were used as an experiment to gain their masks, of which they don't seem to use for too long, so i'd say Ichigo is the successor out of them, as they were mere experiments.

Now, when ichigo first became a shinigami, he had a normal, overly large sword.. which he couldn't talk too, but it was zangetsu.

Once he reclaimed his shinigami powers, his sword went into a perma-release state.

Now this is the dumb part, in the latest episodes, zangetsu was completely removed from ichigo, yet his sword stayed in its released form? (Why?)

Now onto ichigos hollow, i believe that he is half hollow half zanpukto, his hollow powers are unique, but his zanpukto powers are the same as zangetsu's, cause as you saw in the latest episodes, ichigo was still able to use getsuga, hence zangetsu's move, so it shouldn't work if zangetsu was outside of ichigos body.

Now i believe ichigo's hollow could possibly be the strongest person there is, in every way, if he truly does have zanpukto powers alongside hollow powers, he can master two forms, and because his in a shinigami's body, he has access to what they can learn aswell, hence, the power he possesses.

My theory agrees with yours except that Ichigo totally stole what remained of Rukia's Shini powers (save for basic kido) in episode 1 until he got his own later on. She just awoke his dormant powers.

he didn't completely steal them, that shinigami that got banned from soul society put her in a faux body to stop her from recovering her powers.. and ichigo would of never found out about his own powers unless he met that shinigami, which started when he met rukia.

But he did borrow her power long enough to start the process.

1. im pretty sure ichigo can only use his mask the same amount of time as the other vizard. (except mashiro) his fight with grimmjow...lets face it, he was G-modding like a mother...
2. his released sword was so big b/c he puts out a ton of power that he can't control. like isshin said a captain lvl. shinigami would be swinging swords the size of skyscrappers, but they don't b/c they control their power. (the sword is an extension of their spirit power, as is their soul/ZP).
3. this is the same as ------^. ichigo puts out too much power (power he can't control) so its always in shikai
4. this is a tuffy. my best guess, look at kenpachi. his power is all his own, none of it is his ZP. plus ichigo has two power sets, hollow and shinigami. so...
5. i wrote in a different post that b/c ichigo is human he has both good/bad parts in his soul. the bad part is personified by his hollow and the good by zangetsu. neither are independent. like his hollow said. "i am zangetsu and zangetsu is me" or something like that. muramasa didnt pull out all of ichigo's soul/ZP (the ZP is the physical manifestation of the wielder's soul), so he still had power left to defeat zangetsu (again he was G-modding)

Maybe, bleachxhollow, Ichigo has NEVER g-modded, he's just that good.... ever consider that?

are you kidding me? whenever he is faced with an overwhelming opponent he G-modds.
a few examples...
1. the sokokyu spear thing (said to posses the power of a million ZP, and he blocks it with shikai?)
2. byakuya. arguably the fastest current captain. (yorichi did train him) ichigo attains bankai in 3-days when it takes even a noble like byakuya 10 years.
3. every opponent ichigo has faced he relies too heavily on his bankai and mask. (the wind guy in the bount filler, amagai, etc.)
4. grimmjow is the best example. first battle he gets his head beat in. 2nd battle he uses the mask for 11 seconds and wipes the floor with grimmjow. 3rd (final battle) he just "decides" not to loose b/c of orihime and uses his mask indefinitely....total g-modd
5. Ulquiorra fight ichigo goes super hollow....wtf was that?

if he was learning anything from his battles, he wouldnt rely so heavily on his bankai and mask, nor would he nearly die after each battle. also he would learn some new tatics.

but you have to admit he abuses the hollow mask way to much which is most likely y he can hold it for longer

@zero: i think Urahara used tht method to gain both hollow and shinigami powers on himself otherwise how would he know tht it works?

3.maybe tht hollow form is something all vizards could do? maybe ichigo is just more along the evolutionary line unlike the others (its like Ulquiorra uses resurrection form then changes into another form afterwards)

but i still think most of he's powers come from he's dad, who's powers are still unkown but he did make quick work of grand fisher and has a captains robe around he's arm

LoL urahara himself said it that Ichigo's powers are far superior then his own... and his mothed was to only waking up ichigo's power not to convert him to shinigami.. coz he has shinigami blood from his father issin
and i believe ichigo is Noble family or Royal somthin thats why muramasa keep on saying what his he ???
