Ichigo's Powers *theories*

I am about to blow your minds with my theory. From what I was told about Bleach and the few episodes I have seen, I have come up with the theory of Ichigo's Hollow Abilities.

1) Urahara creates Hogyoku.
2) He places it in Rukia for safekeeping.
3) When Rukia tries to give Ichigo some of her power, she says she gave him way too much(most of her power).
4) She not only gives Ichigo most of her power but most of the Hogyoku's power aswell.
5) When Aizen retrieves the Hogyoku from Rukia, he says he thought it would be bigger(or more).
6) It wasn't because most of it or its power is in Ichigo.

Ichigo is a Shinigami with Hollow abilities. That is what Aizen wanted to achieve, right? Just a theory, what do you think?

Maybe, and I've heard this theory before, but I don't like the idea of Ichigo getting his powers from an outside source. It's best if everything he does, he gains on his own (imo).

That theory is not new, and you should read the earlier pages because we have addressed it. We don't know when the Hougyoku was placed in Rukia's soul. However, even if it was there when she gave her powers to Ichigo, it had already been sealed by Urahara. Therefore, it was not awake or functioning at all at the time. Even after Aizen takes it, they explain that it needs time to fully awaken. And, even when Aizen shows that he can awaken some of it's power, he says that it takes someone with double the reiatsu of a captain to do this (implying that he is stronger than we know and that he alone is capable of this). So, one more time, I doubt that the Hougyoku had anything to do with Ichigo's power. It just doesn't seem to make sense to me. If Kubo says that's the way it happened at some point, I'll believe it, but there is still no logic that I can see to suggest that.

Thanks. I figure the holidays are coming up, so might as well have some fun with the sig. Happy "Hollow"-ween to everyone (sorry, I couldn't resist that bad pun). I wonder if Ichigo and Shirosaki will fight over what they should be for Halloween.

Looks like Ichigo's gonna be Frankenstein's monster. (i think that's what he was on the latest manga chapter's front page, too lazy to check it)

But Shirosaki would probably just want to wear a mask for halloween

Your dad sounds cool. Yeah, Ichigo is Frankenstein on the cover of the last issue, but Shiro, seems like we would make a good vampire. I just get an image of the two of them fighting over what they should be for Halloween. I can just see Shiro getting fed up, and being like, "Fine, I'll just take over your body then and be you for Halloween, Ichigo. Then, I can make you be a horse."

lol yeah they could always just compromise and do one of those two man horse costumes. I wonder how they would decide which one would be the horse's head?

ok so i think shirosaki thinks he is stronger than Ichigo again so he won't give him his power. Frankly, I agree, since Shirosaki pwned ulq and ichigo could hardly put a scratch on him. Ichigo's probably going to have to fight Shirosaki again to get control over his mask again. I bet that'll happen later, in the next arc. Either his dad or Urahara will prolly have a hand in it, cuz I don't think Ichigo could beat his hollow alone anymore.

Yeah, a little off topic slippage. Oh well, it's almost Halloween, they'll have to forgive us. By the way, I thought the same thing about the horse costume idea, and pictured a big argument over who would be what part.

Yeah, I also was wondering if Ichigo was having a hard time because he pretty much died too. Shiro once told him not to die before he could use his real power. I was curious that since he did, if that might have something to do with him not being able to control the new mask. ANd, you never know with the hollow battle because it's an internal struggle, so there will probably be some way for Ichigo to overcome it in his soul dimension, but who knows?

Well, it wouldn't be too bad if Shiro actually appeared from time to time ... >.> He's awesome. More skilled than Ichigo, at least his fighting style is more amusing >.> lol

I´m just hoping too see more of him, i hope that a bond is created between them similar to how it was hinted in the filler with both fighting along side each other in the same body. >.> <.< Who knows? Combining Shiro and Zangetsu's power together could be awesome ...
