If i may say,

Ichigo is the only one of his kind, to produce a hollow within him while gaining shinigami powers (well rather, awakening them), as the other vizards were used as an experiment to gain their masks, of which they don't seem to use for too long, so i'd say Ichigo is the successor out of them, as they were mere experiments.

Now, when ichigo first became a shinigami, he had a normal, overly large sword.. which he couldn't talk too, but it was zangetsu.

Once he reclaimed his shinigami powers, his sword went into a perma-release state.

Now this is the dumb part, in the latest episodes, zangetsu was completely removed from ichigo, yet his sword stayed in its released form? (Why?)

Now onto ichigos hollow, i believe that he is half hollow half zanpukto, his hollow powers are unique, but his zanpukto powers are the same as zangetsu's, cause as you saw in the latest episodes, ichigo was still able to use getsuga, hence zangetsu's move, so it shouldn't work if zangetsu was outside of ichigos body.

Now i believe ichigo's hollow could possibly be the strongest person there is, in every way, if he truly does have zanpukto powers alongside hollow powers, he can master two forms, and because his in a shinigami's body, he has access to what they can learn aswell, hence, the power he possesses.

Probably. Once you get into a series u tend to not re-watch it, this leads to forgetting

Ok, here's the deal. Rukia gave Ichigo his powers originally. That is illegal in SS, that is why she was sentenced to be executed. Before Ichigo's group went to save her, Byakuya stripped him of those powers that Rukia gave him. Urahara put Ichigo through Shattered Shaft where Zangetsu explains to him that Byakuya only stripped the shinigami powers that Rukia gave him, but that he has his own. He just needs to find them which he does. They were hidden away in one of the many boxes they were floating through. That's when Ichigo learns Zangetsu's name. In order to go through Shattered Shaft one must enter as a Plus, so Urahara severed Ichigo's chain of fate making him a Plus. Once the Chain of fate is fully dissolved one will turn into a hollow. If he were to have fully turned into a hollow, Urahara would have had to kill him. When his chain was almost fully dissolved he was turning into a hollow, but his Plus was still resisting. So, Urahara said to give him a little more time. That's when Zangetsu appeared and explained things. He finds his ZP at the last minute and escapes the Shaft. However the Hollow had already embedded himself in Ichigo. Hence, he became a Vizard, though he did not know it yet.

Icgigo's Sword always stays in a released shikai state due to his immense Reiatsu. When Zangetsu's spirit was pulled out of it, Ichigo still had his spiritual pressure pumping into it, so it is logical that it would keep it's form. Plus, we have never seen Ichigo's sword in an unreleased state, so I doubt they would have introduced that in a filler arc.

Actually, Urahara hid the Hougyoku in Rukia's soul, not her Gigai. He gave her Gigai that would eventually turn her soul Human hoping it would lock away the Hougyoku forever. We're not really sure when he hid it in her soul, at least I don't recall it ever being stated. However, in any case, when Urahara hid the Hougyoku in Rukia's soul it had already been deactivated. That's why when Aizen took it out, they said it would take time to fully awaken. So, I don't think the Hougyoku could have had anything to do with Ichigo's power because it was not active at the time (If she even had it in her soul at that point).
