I just somehow think that there isn't an actual tangible treasure at the end of this story. I think that the "One piece" is the experience of having a wonderful life as a pirate.

And i was just curious about all the wierd opinions and theories people had.

inside is either:
A. A one-piece swimsuit OR
B. Piece 1 of a 1000 piece puzzle and a note:

Well if you look at the opening titale pages on the manga, they used to read somewhere on them:
One Piece, the never-ending voyage
i.e. They will never find One Piece

seems like one piece is only a small piece that is vital to find the real treasure and only a few well know what the clue is or how to find the treasure.

There is also the possibility that the crowd misunderstood Gol D. Rogers. Maybe he meant ONE PEACE. Wich strengthens my theory that Rogers planned the pirate age. Telling everyone to go out and find the peace of being a great pirate adventurer.

My guess is that the journey will be the treasure. they will find a chest with inside a note and a good bottle of sake.
