im depressed its over but i definatly loved teh ending and i think Lelouch is still alive...he was teh one driving teh carriage in the end i mean since he was able to give his geass to suzaku tht means he has c.c'scode soooooo wen he was "killed" he actually just passed out like when c.c gets shot in teh head.....plus wen Nunnaly touched him she was able to see his memories like wen people touched c.c . Need more evidence??? of course this is just my overly optimistic but hopefully true theory.
i tihnk u have missunderstod it a bit, lelouch could have given Suzaku Geass beacuse if i did he would expand the amount of people that possesss geass and lelouch think of geass as a curse taht shouldn´t be aloed to exist.
and he sade he had given him the geass that would make him give up happines (everything) to fight for the world, peace etc. and when he say given him geass or that he had the geass then they mean that they are affected by geass.
Like "Live On" the say that that was the geass on Suzaku. (at start)
But i think Jeremaya used his geass cancler on Suzaku after that leluch became emperor of the world so that he could put a new geass on him. Since jerimaya knew that it was Suzaku beacuse he sade when he passed by him "Go! masked knight". and i think that way jeremaya would be there to order the troops to stop fireing. so that it he would be capable of killing lelouch.
There was no reason for Lelouch to use another geass on Suzaku, the reason being that he cry's when killing Lelouch. Usually when people are under the influence of geass they are happy to follow his orders.
Needless to say this was one of the best endings to an anime that I have seen thus far. To have the entire world turn their hate on himself, only to take that hatred away in death, was the pure role of a hero to humanity. I do think Lelouch is still alive as it would be unfair for him to break his contract with CC, because she still wants to die. Another clue is that she is wearing normal clothes at the end, which might signify her release from being a geass guardian.
I loved the fact that Jeremiah started an orange farm at the end with Anya. If you recall that is what Guilford said he would do in the first season when Jeremiah was in prison.

As far as I know after finishing watching Code Geass there are only two ways that Nunnaly could have that flashback of Leluche's memories, either he recieved his code from killing his father (C.C. was able to give Suzaku an hallucination about what happened in his past, using those guidelines it wouldn't be impossible for Lelouch to send her these memories using his fathers code) if this is the case he has to be alive.
The second less optimistic option is that Nunally can tell if someone's lying through their leg (as she did with her advisers while she was in control of Japan) which would really blow because she would have inferred everything that caused Lelouch's actions.
Kind of a depressing thought in the case of the second theory, but I can only hope that they'll create another season of Code Geass (or at least a movie) based more on C.C. and the power of Geass using the first option; this anime is way too good to just end without a clear death. A fair amount of people compare this anime to Death Note, and there were pages confirming Light's death. Seems like a huge waste to let this idea die rather than continue it with a 3rd season.
Nooooooo! Say it ain't so. I'm sad it's the end. I would love to see more. With that ending I think I might just get my wish. C.C is talking to Lelouch in the end. Perhaps that wasn't lelouch that susaku stabbed but C.C. instead and we all know that she can't die. Nunnally saw thoughts of lelouch and that only happens when somone touches C.C. hmmm. It can't be over yet.
I think its over simply because the images people think they thought that nunnaly saw was really the animator showing the events that led up to lelouch getting killed and sacrificing himself for the world
