I think it would have been better if they stuck to the manga and had shikamaru smoke. It had a bit of coolness to it and made it a reasonable and unwasted reason to smoke. When someone who was close to you, who used to be a smoker, not smelling them makes it that much harder. I think it would have been logical to stick to the manga. What does everyone else think?
