I believe that at the point of the series we are in we don't really need to be remembered what it's about... if you still don't have it clear... oh well, you probably randomly chose this episode to start. They loose a lot of air time that could be more usefully spent in following new fights!! And in this specific chapter, maybe they started this way so that we don't forget Ichigo still exists somewhere in the universe...
